A collaborator on my first book titled ALL SKY, MIRROR OCEAN: A Healing Manifesto.

I feel the world in pain, a present and ancient pain. We need to heal, to hear healing stories, to take steps out into the open that heal—personally and collectively. This book is about the visionary artist and the role visionary art can play in experiencing and storying the many challenges we face as a species and the more-than-human world we are a part of. Visionary art is a vital part of being human. It is our inheritance, our history, our expressing essence to enter into the pure space of the open—a being before and within Being. Visionary art is a provocation to heal: part of a larger, longer journey.

This book was co-created with Sha LaBare, who is learning to live on a new planet, one where conditions are changing rapidly. He has made contact with many of the creatures here, including a centipede, two different kinds of tree, and quite a few yeasts. Sha is also still working on the novel about the cat that ate the bird that ate the god that ate the human civilization, but that's a different kettle of fish entirely.

Chapter Selection: World Gone Wrong

In 2022, Sha was commissioned, with the help of a Canada Council for the Arts grant, to write a series of essays on wording and world-building.
